biasanya menjelang akhir kuartal. – "Soros sees additional market declines after temporary reprieve in stock market. Billionaire George Soros called the current financial crisis the worst since the Great Depression and said markets will fall more this year after a brief rebound. Soros reported that they had a good bottom, referring to the rally in stocks. He stated that this would probably not prove to be the final bottom, adding the recovery might last 6 weeks to 3 months as the U.S. moves closer to recession".
salah satu instrumen investasi yang paling "High return" :$-) but ….. Extremely "high risk" :-O he..he

Oil rebounds nearly $4 a barrel to 116.32 May 3, 2008 Crude oil rose nearly $4 a barrel in New York, the most in month, after a report showed the U.S. lost fewer jobs than forecast in April and as Turkey renewed its military offensive against Kurdish rebels in an oil-rich section of Iraq. The unemployment number wasn''t anywhere near as bad as expected," said Kyle Cooper, an analyst at IAF Advisors in Houston. "Maybe the economy isn''t falling into the abyss and demand won''t fall as much as expected." At the New York Mercantile Exchange, rose $3.80, or 3.4 percent, to settle at $116.32 a barrel, the first increase in four days. It was the biggest gain since April 2. Futures, which have climbed 83 percent from a year ago, are down 1.9 percent this week. "It could go up just a little bit more," said Fred Rozell, retail pricing director at the Oil Price Information Service, in Wall, N.J., but, "I think it''s running out of steam." The dollar rose to a five-week high against the euro after the smaller-than-expected job loss last month, which may indicate the labor market is weathering the economic slowdown.

Thx. :-? tampaknya indeks sudah mulai menunjukkan downtrend deh. siap2, menghadapi crash….!! btw, buy on dips di level 21.000 ? [-o< i hope so [-o<

Ibu Astira… mau tanya nih.. Just my view smile sepertinya sulit untuk tembus more than 105.an sebab menurut issue di luar, ada seorang nama besar tengah memasang sell order diatas 105.an saya baca di market talk DJ newswire.
Kombinasi penurunan suku bunga Amerika, dollar AS yang murah, mendorong negara2 asing dan ditambah para spekulan besar dengan hedge Fund mereka mulai mempermainkan harga minyak. Sejarah telah mencatat kejadian serupa pada tahun 1970an.
Gold Price Above $900, Oil Sets Record Near $128 \r\n\r\n\r\nMay 16, 2008 – Gold prices have hit $905 an ounce on the New York \r\nexchange market, rising from $882 late last week. Rapidly rising oil \r\nprices, which reached $128 a barrel, have sparked a buying spree. \r\nSilver has also risen in price, reaching $17 an ounce. Earlier this \r\nyear gold prices broke the $1,000 an ounce barrier before falling back \r\nagain. Financial analysts believe gold could hit $2,500 an ounce \r\nwithin a few years. \r\n\r\n\r\nTHE RISING PRICE OF OIL isn''t just swelling Americans'' energy bills — \r\nit''s also holding back their stock portfolios. \r\n\r\n\r\nWall Street got some seemingly auspicious signs last week about home \r\nconstruction and consumer level inflation. But with oil climbing to \r\nnew records, and more reports expected this week on rising prices and \r\nthe housing market, investors are holding on to a conservative stance. \r\n\r\n\r\nOil''s stubborn trek to record highs is a major reason why investors \r\nhave yet to push the major indexes into positive territory for the \r\nyear. Just this month, crude has so far tacked on about $13 to breach \r\n$127 a barrel, while the price tag on a gallon of gasoline for the \r\naverage U.S. driver has soared 17 cents to nearly $3.79. \r\n\r\n\r\nThose price surges cast an air of skepticism over last week''s report \r\nfrom the Labor Department showing a modest 0.2 percent uptick in \r\nconsumer prices in April. \r\n\r\n\r\nMeanwhile, the Commerce Department''s upbeat report on housing starts \r\nalso met with some doubt among investors, particularly because the \r\nhuge rise was due mostly to apartment construction, which can vary \r\nwidely from month to month. \r\n\r\n\r\nStill the market, betting that better times are not that far off, \r\nfinished the week with a solid advance. The Dow Jones industrial \r\naverage rose 1.89 percent, while the Standard & Poor''s 500 index \r\ngained 2.67 percent and the Nasdaq composite index picked up 3.41 \r\npercent \r\n\r\n\r\n"So are we at an inflection point in housing right now? Very possibly. \r\nBut let''s be clear here. Nothing in the data suggests we''re about to \r\nsee a sharp rebound," wrote Bernard Baumohl of the Economic Outlook \r\nGroup LLC in a research note. \r\n\r\n\r\nWe are still looking for oil to ease off and for the dollar to rise \r\noff \r\nthe floor. Without those moves, even if we have good earnings for Q1, \r\nwe won’t be able to assume the consumer can hold up in Q2. (APP)
