StockWatch (Jakarta) - PT Trada Maritime Tbk (TRAM) is predicted to book revenue of IDR483.70 billion in 2008 or surging by 120% from IDR219.70 billion in 2007, Trada Maritime''s president Darmansyah Tanamas said.
"We are optimistic we will reach the revenue target, since the government has made a rule that domestic shipping must be served by Indonesian ships," Tanamas said in a public expose after due diligence meeting on Wednesday (23/7) in Jakarta.
Tanamas said the company booked IDR68.017-billion revenue in the first half of 2008 or 14% of the full-year target. He said the net profit is predicted to rise sharply by 228% at IDR121.80 billion in 2008 versus IDR37.10 billion in 2007.
He said the high revenue and net profit projections are based on the company''s market segment in crude oil floating storage offloading (FSO) service that has climbed above 20% today. In this business, he said, the company has five FSO units with total capacity of 2.97 million barrels.
After the IPO, he said further, the company is expected to have 33 vessels that consist of five FSO units, three liquid cargo tanker ships and 25 units of tugs and barges.
